Created in Paris and inspired by this city ever since, AMI offers stylish and comprehensive wardrobes for men and women, blurring the boundaries between casual and chic. The name AMI, the French word for friend, plays with the initials of Alexandre Mattiussi. AMI captures a particular type of the French capital's nonchalance: relaxed, authentic, and friendly. AMI was founded on the principle of Mattiussi dressing his friends. “I like the idea of dressing as many people as I can,” says the designer. “It is a proposition of real clothes for real men and women,” says Mattiussi.
"Each June, AMI is looking forward to celebrating Pride Month - this time, we are thrilled and honored to be partnering with Tom Daley, a great advocate of the LGBTQ+ community. This year also marks the first time we sell NFTs. AMI as a company confidently embraces the latest technologies, remaining up to date with the evolution of tech. We are therefore proud to innovate with NFTs for this Pride Month, and we are rooting to make a difference with the great cause we support, now and throughout the year. "

While fans applauded his gold and bronze medal wins in Tokyo, images of Tom knitting poolside also garnered global attention. Dubbed the 'Tom Daley effect,' his love for the craft has helped knitting hit the mainstream, and in 2021, Tom launched his knitting line, Made With Love. Author of the Sunday Times bestselling Coming Up for Air, three-time BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year winner, and an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights worldwide, Tom currently lives in London with his husband and son.
"I have always loved creating things and working with Pride colours makes the jumpers look so vibrant and exciting. The two pieces are very different to each other. One is a more traditional fitting jumper, while the other is a cable knit that is cropped with long arms. I took a lot of inspiration from Alexandre's precious designs."
